Surita graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2006. She worked for 11 years in orthopaedic physiotherapy including acute post-operative rehabilitation, outpatient treatment (specifically neck and back injury rehabilitation), and sports injuries. She has been working in Williams Lake since 2017.
Surita is also skilled in dry needling, dynamic, and kinesio taping. Her further training has covered temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, associated cervicogenic headaches, and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy.
Surita moved to Canada with her family in 2017 and bought the Williams Lake Physiotherapy clinic the following year.
