Surita graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2006. She worked for 11 years in orthopaedic physiotherapy including acute post-operative rehabilitation, outpatient treatment (specifically neck and back injury rehabilitation) and sports injuries.
Surita is also skilled in dry needling and kinesio- and dynamic taping. Her further training has covered temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, associated cervicogenic headaches, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and orthopaedic manual therapy.
Surita moved to Canada with her family in 2017 and bought the Williams Lake Physiotherapy Clinic the following year in 2018.
